Thank you everyone who made The Bridge Church 10th Anniversary a great CELEBRATION! We appreciate our generous friends who traveled to join us or sent greetings and cards from Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Vietnam, Poland and across many States. It’s such a blessing to be connected to the body of Christ around the world!

Friday morning kicked off the weekend with the O2 Network Leaders Day. Stuart Bell, leader of Alive Churches and Ground Level Network UK spoke first, followed by Bishop Tony Miller from The Gate Church in Oklahoma City. The day cumulated in a panel discussion with the aforementioned ministers as well as Louis Kotze, pastor of Hatfield Church in Pretoria, South Africa. Friday night the completion of the new coffee bar and cafe spaces in the foyer surprised everyone as they enjoyed the lattes and chats with old and new friends. Pastor Duane shared a stirring word for the future where he asked the poignant question, “Who’s Next?”

Saturday morning started with a bang as outreach teams passed out diapers at the MLK Center, mowed lawns and canvassed neighborhoods. Many people were prayed for and connections made to bless our community.

Saturday night dazzled as we realized how well The Bridge cleans up! With the pews removed and the space for tables utilized, we held the first event in the auditorium. Everyone enjoyed the fun photo booth donated by Blazin’ Events and the great food by Fresh Food Catering. Danielle Vasquez and Cody White emceed the night and showed us some interesting “Then & Now” photos. Graham and Marie Catto received honors for their investment through LTS, Paul and Perrianne Brownback (The Abbey Church) received the “Super, or HUPER, friend” award for being such awesome support and friends to The Bridge. Every person who attended the first Bridge service received a gold star trophy and Kelly Fleming won a golden mic trophy for her 10 year participation on the worship team! Bishop Miller challenged us with a message about being “tied to the post” when God has need of you. Finally, Kris Dillard topped off the evening with a special song written in honor of the celebration. The lyrics were prophetically powerful. “You are mine, I’m taking you higher, higher. Do you mind if I take you over the top.” Everyone cheered with the unexpected ending tagline of “Huper x 10”.

Sunday morning marked Day 100 of our 100 Days of Praise. Joey Hughes began the service by reading Psalm 150 and praise erupted in the packed-out house! The Bridge Kids paraded through the auditorium dressed in bright, crazy clothes and waved banners and streamers as part of their Sunday Praise Party. Bishop Miller continued where Pastor Duane left off on the Friday night with how Joshua was called to be NEXT. He shared from Joshua 3:1-5 how we are called to clarity, courage, concentration and consecration. People had the opportunity to give in the Rise and Build offering and ensure The Bridge continues to push forward to pursue all God has for the NEXT 100 years!

The grand finale was our Unhinged worship night with special guests, Bethel recording artist, Leeland. It was such a powerful worship event as over 400 people sang songs such as “The Lion and the Lamb” and “Perfect Love” and “Invisible.” After Leeland concluded the evening, people enjoyed food trucks in the parking lot and gathered on the front lawns laughing and eating together. “All Ages, All Races, and All Kinds.” The best is yet to come.
