This Sunday, February 26th, 2017, our special guest speaker, Pastor Rusty Griffin from Christian City Fellowship Church in Sealy, TX, unpacked an amazing message on A Thousand Moments of New here at The Bridge Church in Denton, TX.

A Thousand Moments of New:

“These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Gen. 2:4-7)

A beginning to anything is made of a thousand moments. In a time of new beginnings, a thousand little moments will make you successful.

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” (Josh. 1:7-9)

Concentrate on those thousand little moments in life. We have some good meditators within this world, and by choosing to meditate on God’s Word, it begins to make your way prosperous.

Pursuit is the evidence of desire.

“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.” (Ps. 119:97-104; MEM)

Let’s meditate on God’s word, because a thousand little moments of blessings start now. Discover the new in you. Responsibility is like desire; it takes pursuit.

There are breakout seeds in you right now. There is more in you that looks the same, but different in a new level. God will start with you right where you’re at. He knew you would be there before you arrived, and He has been waiting there for you. God’s will doesn’t have to make sense; you just have to have faith.

Discover the new in you!
