At The Bridge Church in Denton TX Sunday December 6th 2015, Ps. Duane shared an amazing word about the Living Nativity in the 21st Century.

This Sunday, December 6, 2015, Pastor Duane started off the Christmas season at The Bridge Church in Denton, TX with a fantastic message about the Nativity.

Living Nativity in the 21st Century

One thing that many people look forward to every year around Christmas time is living nativity scenes, but what if we were to create a living nativity all year around? Not with characters that are looking at baby Jesus, but real live people who are living out the Kingdom characteristics of the major players who came to the manger to see a King?

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Duane highlights six key historical characters from the nativity scene, found in Luke 2:1-18, who carry kingdom values that we desperately need in our modern society! And, if embodied by a community of people, these values could have huge implications in our lives, as well as those around us.

“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” – John 1:14
